These skills open a number of careers, both general in administration and commerce as well as specialized careers in public administration. Many graduates use their skill to compete in the public service entry exam.

An increasing number of courses are offered in English to prepare students for a globalized world.

International admissions and scholarships

Korean students are expected to pass the high school diploma with high grades.

The Department encourages international students to apply for the undergraduate and graduate program. In addition to Korean language skills (with certificate TOPIK 3 or higher), English language skills (for example, TOEIC, IELTS) are required. The university offers several language courses, for full time students as well as shorter courses.

In the past, a number of students from China and Mongolia have taken the undergraduate degree course, while our graduate program is more international with former and current students from Southeast, South and Central Asia, Latin America and Africa. Some students have been supported by scholarships such as NIIED. For more details on the application process at GNU, contact the university’s International Office.

Information for prospective applicants to the graduate program can be accessed under the graduate studies tab.
